Franchise.com founder announces sale of U.S.
franchise advertising business
Nancy Ghanem launches NG Franchise Services, a network of websites to help franchisors and franchisees grow and manage their businesses.
ENCINITAS, CA – February 22, 2007 – Nancy Ghanem, founder of the online franchise lead generation business and Franchise.com, announced today the sale of its US franchise lead generation business to Landmark Communications, Inc. Also included in the sale was the Franchise.com url and trademark which was owned by Ghanem’s holding company, Euro-American International, Inc.
Ghanem will continue to operate her international localized language franchise lead generation business; her FTC staff approved Franchise E-disclosure business, and other new business segments under the rebranded company name, NG Franchise Services, Inc (www.FranServices.com). International franchise lead generation business will be conducted using the urls www.franchiseuniverse.ca and www.efranquicias.com.
“With the sale of the Franchise.com we can focus on expanding our many other franchise service offerings. Our new umbrella website FranServices.com will provide information on, and links to, all of our franchise services, including UFOCplus™, Franchise Administrator™, The Franchise Bluebook™ and FranFit™. FranServices.com will become the new web portal serving my vision of expediting and facilitating the franchise sale and franchise management process”, says Ghanem, President of NG Franchise Services.
“FranchiseBluebook.com will not be a franchise lead generation site, but will provide factual franchise information without the marketing hype. Franchisors will use UFOCplus.com and Franchise Administrator™ as online management solutions for delivering UFOCs and administrating franchisee information based on the new FTC Rule. The soon to open FranchiseOwnerInc.com site will assist franchisors co-manage their and their franchisees’ best interests. Franchise Universe.ca will serve as the international franchise lead generation portal. FranFit.com will utilize the company’s national franchise lead validation call center based in California to match and assist qualified business buyers be matched enrolled franchise opportunities that “fit”.
